Kosho picked up his first pair of turntables when he was 16 years old, spinning old skool funk and a bit of
disco. Now over a decade later, you can still experience a bit of funk and some disco in his creative electro funk sets.
Kosho has shared the decks with numerous
DJ’s on DJ Mag’s top 100 DJ’s. He is a regular at super-clubs like Spundae and Circus - and has held
residencies at Sky Sushi in Hollywood, Space 550 in San Francisco, RA in Las Vegas and of course RED. Internationally,
he has headlined events in Japan, Philippines and Mexico just to name a few. When Kosho is not DJing, he is in the studio
producing cutting edge music. In his 2009, release “Urquidi” was and is still being hammered
by international DJs and radio stations worldwide. His newest I-Tunes release “Yamamoto” has
received great reviews from various artists and publications. In early 2010, look for tracks such as “Take
You”, “Nguyen” and “Gillamac”.
Most people know Kosho as being down to earth. When he is not on the decks, you will find
him at the closest bar downing shots with his fans and friends. If you want to get to know him, be prepared
to get drunk!
